Tomorrow I will be preparing for Wednesday’s Occupy Philly GA. It’ll likely be a movable feast, meetings stretching from West Philly to Independence Mall.

I am nervous. I feel I was a part of something that has either opened a can of worms or ripped off a band-aid.

I think it’s the latter. Similarly, I wonder, given the collapse of facilitation, if I might feel free to try something that will work. There is process, but everyone seems to hate it. So…fuck it? It’s not a sacred text: what do we like, what do we need?

Idea: Ad hoc GAs, called as needed by a quorum of three working groups.
Problem: Called to whom? How is this adjudicated? Does it need to be?

Idea: One GA a month.
Problem: Confusion with non-decision making, Monthly Meeting idea. What if no need to meet?
